A NEW lounge is welcoming guests at EPCOT! The new GEO-82 is home to upscale eats and drinks during the day, plus a fireworks experience so you can have the ultimate vantage point of Luminous: The Symphony of Us on the World Showcase Lagoon.
While there is a special fireworks experience, you can still visit the lounge to see the view even without doing the pricey special experience. We got the chance to check out this adults-only (21 and up) bar during the fireworks, and we’re sharing what you need to know about the VIEW!
GEO-82 is the newest lounge to open at Disney World, and we had the chance to see what the view is like during EPCOT’s fireworks show, Luminous: The Symphony of Us. The name is a nostalgic nod to Spaceship Earth, which opened in 1982. Inside the lounge, be prepared to be immersed in the history and legacy of this EPCOT icon. Keep in mind that this lounge is ONLY for guests who are 21 years and older.
During the fireworks viewing, the music is pumped in so you can hear it loud and clear.

Now you can’t really see World Showcase Lagoon itself from here, but luckily, the best parts are all very visible up in the air — you aren’t missing anything! Not to mention, you don’t have to stand and fight for a spot around World Showcase. You’re inside with delicious food and drink, and most importantly, AIR CONDITIONING.
There’s also the GEO-82 Fireworks Experience! This Enchanting Extra will allow guests 21 and over to sit inside the lounge located inside Spaceship Earth to relax and watch Luminous while enjoying drinks and snacks. Because this is an Enchanting Extra, it costs $179 per person, plus tax and gratuity. You’ll be able to arrive at the lounge 60 minutes before Luminous starts, and you’ll need to make advanced reservations on the Disney World website.
We also found out that the tables closest to the windows will be reserved for those who booked the fireworks experience. All of the tables and booths closer to the inside of the lounge will be held for regular reservations…which means you can be there during fireworks! It won’t be the best view, but it’s a way to be able to order what you want and still look out those panoramic windows.
The price includes champagne in a Spaceship Earth-inspired glass (which will also be available for purchase), a dessert plate, and a food tower which features charcuterie, deviled eggs with crisp duck prosciutto, and pimento cheese macarons. Pretty unique, huh?
Here’s a closer look at that dessert plate. Is that GOLD on the chocolate-covered strawberries? Say less…
We’ll be on the lookout for more updates from EPCOT and Disney World. In the meantime, stay tuned to the Disney Food Blog for the latest Disney news and more.

Disclosure: In nearly all circumstances, Disney Food Blog writers and photographers pay full price for their own travel, hotel, food, beverage, and event tickets. We do this because it’s important to us as journalists to ensure not only that we give you unbiased opinions, but also that you can trust us to do so since we’re paying our own way. On rare occasions, when we are invited by a company to attend a preview as media, and when we choose to accept that invitation, we will always make you, our readers, aware of that situation. Today, we were invited by Disney World to attend their media preview of the GEO-82 fireworks experience. Note that when we attend events as media we are 1) Not required to review that event/food on any of our channels, and 2) Not required to review that event/food favorably. You can always count on DFB to give you a 100% unbiased and honest review of any event that we attend, food that we eat, or beverage that we drink. You can see more in our Disclosure Policy. Something nobody has mentioned is that the location at the very front of the park allows for a quick and easy exit ahead of the crowd once the show is over. That’s a benefit all by itself. Or perhaps you can stay another hour in comfort while the crowd disperses! Regardless, I’m all in.
